Endowed Scholarships

Students who have completed the General Scholarship Application (and required essay) are automatically considered for the following scholarships. 

Award amounts and qualifications may vary by scholarship, but the determination of the award is generally based on financial need.

Awarded to a Vermont resident enrolled in the Business Technology & Management program.
Awarded to Vermont residents who are enrolled full-time in the Automotive Technology Program.
Awarded to a rural New England resident.
Awarded to a Vermont resident enrolled in their senior year (Associate's or Bachelor's) in an engineering curriculum.
Awarded to a non-Vermont resident entering their second year.
Awarded to a Vermont resident on the basis of need and academic achievement.
Awarded to a Vermont resident entering their second year in the Veterinary Techology program.
This scholarship awarded to a student enrolled in an engineering curriculum who has completed a vocational-technical education program in Vermont.
Awarded to a Vermont resident residing in the Barre/Montpelier area.
This scholarship is awarded to a resident of Vermont, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts (preferably Abington, MA) who is enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program.
Awarded to a Vermont resident with financial need.  Preference will be given to students from the town of Sharon.
This scholarship is awarded to students with the highest financial need.
Awarded to a Vermont resident who is enrolled full-time in the Dairy Farm Management program.
Awarded to an in-state or out-of-state student who has outstanding character and good academic standing.
Awarded to a high school senior from Springfield High School, Vermont who has been accepted to Vermont Tech.
Awarded by faculty to a returning student in the Electrical Engineering Technology program
Awarded to a student pursuing a degree in agriculture at Vermont Tech.
Awarded to a student enrolled in the Dairy Farm Management or Agribusiness program who has completed their first year of college and have an unmet financial need to continue their education.
This scholarship is available to students in all years of study who are enrolled in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electromechanical Engineering Technology program.
Awarded to a Vermont resident enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program.
This scholarship is awarded to any second, third, or fourth year student in good academic standing.
Awarded to Vermont residents enrolled full-time in an agricultural program.
Awarded to a first year Vermont resident enrolled in the Dairy Farm Management or Nursing program.
This endowment scholarship was created in honor of the late Jimi Grant to help create opportunity for disadvantaged students to access education.  This scholarship is designated to students in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, renewable energy technology, civil and environmental engineering technology, architectural and building engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology or construction management to be disbursed over...
Awarded to a Vermont resident who is enrolled in the Civil Engineering Technology program.
Awarded to Vermont residents enrolled as a freshman in an agricultural program, including Dairy Farm Management, Agribusiness, Landscape, and Vet Tech.
Awarded to Vermont residents enrolled in the Dairy Farm Management program.
Awarded to both in- and out-of-state students enrolled full-time in an agricultural program.
Awarded to a Vermont resident who is enrolled in the Veterinary Techology program.
Awarded to a student in any year of their education and from any state or nation who are in good academic standing.
Awarded to second year student from Addison County, Vermont who is enrolled in the Landscape Design and Sustainable Horticulture program.
Awarded to a graduate of the VAST program returning to Vermont Tech with preference given to students majoring in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Awarded to Vermont residents enrolled full-time in the Landscape Design and Horticulture program.
Awarded to a student who is enrolled in the Dairy Farm Management or Agribusiness program and is returning to the family farm after graduation.
Awarded annually to a first generation student who is enrolled at one of the Vermont State Colleges and is in their final year of a degree program.
Awarded to a student in their second semester of the LPN program.  Selection of successful applicant(s) will be made annually by faculty.
Awarded to Vermont residents who are full-time students at one of the Vermont State Colleges and has an interest in education.
Awarded to a Vermont resident who has completed their first year of college.
Awarded to a female student who has enthusiasm for life and is respected and admired by her classmates and professors. Must be community service oriented and disciplined, willing to tackle adversity with courage and determination. Exhibits potential for personal growth & professional achievement. Faculty recommendations desired. Selection made by AET, CET professor, Math or Science professor and Director of Financial Aid.
This scholarship is for those LPNs enrolled at the Fanny Allen site and recipients are selected by the site director
Awarded to a Vermont resident enrolled in the VAST program.
This scholarship is to aid a deserving student in the LPN program at the Thompson site.
Awarded to Vermont residents enrolled full-time in the Automotive Technology program. This scholarship is in memory of Bill Dexter.
Awarded to a Vermont resident enrolled in an agricultural program.
Awarded to an incoming freshman female, but a VAST student in second year is also eligible to apply. Applicant must be a Vermont resident enrolled in a non-traditional engineering curriculum (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Electromechanical).
The VTC/LPN Scholarship Fund was established by the Vermont State Colleges Board of Trustees.  Scholarships are awarded to candidates who demonstrate both financial need and clearly presented professional goals. It is available to accepted students in the LPN program at all five sites: Fanny Allen; Putnam Memorial; Thompson; Newport, and Randolph.
This scholarship was established for the purpose of supporting Dairy Farm management students at Vermont Tech.  With the dissolve of the Vermont Agricultural Museum in Randolph Center, in memory of its founder, Warren E.
