Entrepreneurship & Small Business Planning

Vermont Tech offers new pathways for entrepreneurial success. Through a combination of business planning and entrepreneurship courses, students of any major can enhance their degrees and gain the skills associated with starting their own business or pursuing a career in a start-up enterprise.

For Vermont Tech students, the combination of applied technical skill and entrepreneurial knowledge-base will be a potent asset in today’s economy. For visiting students, our business education is practical and enhanced with the applied learning the college is known for. You will learn by doing and be better prepared to become an entrepreneur or work in a small business.

Depending on your major and interests, you can complete a minor or concentration in entrepreneurship or a specialization in small business planning. View the curriculum to learn more about each program.
