ELM4701 - ELM Project I

This Fall course begins the capstone experience in the Electromechanical Engineering Technology program. The sequence continues in the Spring with ELM4702: ELM Project II. In both courses students manage, execute and present projects that develop electromechanical products. Each product integrates electrical, computer and mechanical technologies into an automated system. Project management involves team building, delegation of responsibility, scheduling, budgeting, and status reporting. Project execution includes concept development, engineering analysis, detailed design, fabrication and testing. Project presentations are given orally to large and small audiences and electronically via project web pages.
